Direct Route M8 and M7/N18 Motorway Schemes

There are 25 bridge structures on the Direct Route M8 Motorway and 33 structures on the Limerick Southern Ring Road(M7/N18) schemes including overbridges, underbridges, culverts, tunnels, toll booths and sign gantries. These structures must be inspected at maximum intervals of 6 years under the NRA Eirspan Bridge Management System by TII trained Bridge Inspectors.

MMConsult has undertaken the Principal Inspection of all the structures and inputted the data onto the TII Eirspan Database on behalf of Direct Route Ltd. MMConsult carry out Routine Maintenance Inspections of the structures on an annual basis.
